How to customize the patterned backgrounds?
- load the Sports.pat file (File -> Open -> Sports.pat)
- under layer's palette double-click on the layer named "Sport"
- under Pattern Overlay search for a different sport name
- adjust the scale if it's necessary
- to change background / badge's ribbon color, simply click on the color fill clipped layer and select (or pick) any color.
- to add image, select the layer named "photo" and drag the image over the template.

Create you own text as a patterned background?
- open the PatternTEXT.psd file
- add your own text
- go Edit -> Define Pattern
- the new pattern is created and ready to be used under Pattern Overlay (see above)
